The islands of the Galapagos, just off shore of the coast of Equador are a Blue Paradise in every aspect. Under the hot sun of the equator, the cold waters of the Humbold stream establish a bearable climate. 1000 kilometers from the main land, a pristine and unique world of animals and vegetation has been preserved - above and under water.

Charles Darwin was inspired by his observations on the islands which eventually lead him to his famous theory of evolution. Still today we can closely experience the natural wonders of the Galapagos Islands, since the domestic animals have never experienced humans as a threat. A strong regulated tourism is helping to keep it this way.

Stefanie Voigt and her team experience unforgettable encounters with huge whale sharks and the spooky looking hammerhead sharks. The adventurers are also captivated by the sight of rare giant turtles and prehistoric iguanas.

Stefanie Voigt and her team are experiencing breathtaking underwater habitats in the vicinity of the Miami skyline. While traveling further to the tropical Gulf coast the team encounters nurse sharks and barracudas.

Next to modern highways, the Florida Everglades reveal a unique diversity of animals: alligators and long neck turtles as well as a multitude of water based birds the Everglades are truly a contrast to the city.

Blue Paradise is presenting underwater adventures in ten fascinating  episodes and leads to the most amazing diving destinations in the world. 

Mysterious aquatic environments, close encounters with dolphins, sharks and whales, exotic destinations as well as extraordinary people and foreign cultures are pleasantly presented and entertain the spectators in Blue Paradise.

From the south sea islands of Palau and Yap via Florida and the Bahamas all the way to the Galapagos Islands, Indonesia, Belize and Bonaire, presented by Stefanie Voigt and Katrin Ritter, the adventurous journeys lead to the most spectacular underwater habitats in the world.
